PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planing boat capable of reducing a friction resistance during sliding with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A planing boat comprises: a deck constituting an upper part of a body; and a hull 4 constituting a lower part of the body. The hull 4 in a double hull structure comprises: an inner shell 12; an outer shell 13 arranged separately outside the inner shell 12; and a clearance space 14 which is formed in between the inner shell 12 and the outer shell 13 and which is opened to the atmosphere through an atmosphere communication part 24. The outer shell 13 includes a multiple of through-holes 20 in an area 29 positioned below a water line WL of a sliding time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
