PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a HUD (head-up display) device capable of automatically adjusting a display position appropriate for positions of the eyes of each passenger.SOLUTION: A HUD device mounted in a vehicle including a vehicle camera imaging eyes of a passenger, projecting an image on a windshield of the vehicle, and thereby displaying a virtual image in a visible area so that the passenger can visually recognize the virtual image, comprises: an optical system including a concave mirror provided so that an attitude can be changed, the visible area being moved in response to the attitude of the concave mirror; and a control circuit automatically adjusting the attitude of the concave mirror so that the attitude is set to an attitude associated with a relative position of each eye imaged by the vehicle camera to the visible area on the basis of the relative position.
【課題】乗員の各自の眼の位置に合わせた表示位置に自動で調整可能なＨＵＤ装置を提供する。【解決手段】乗員の眼を撮影する車内カメラを有した車両に搭載され、車両のウインドシールドに画像を投影することにより、虚像を視認領域において乗員により視認可能に表示するＨＵＤ装置は、姿勢が変更可能に設けられる凹面鏡を有し、凹面鏡の姿勢に応じて視認領域を移動させる光学系と、車内カメラが撮影した眼の視認領域に対する相対位置に基づいて、相対位置に関連付けられた姿勢となるように、凹面鏡の姿勢を自動調整する制御回路とを備える。【選択図】図７
