A vehicle charging cable storage assembly 1 is provided. The vehicle charging cable storage assembly 1 comprises: a vehicle charging cable 3; a first guide 13; and a second guide 19. A route of the vehicle charging cable 3 is at least partially positionally constrained by the first and second guides 13, 19. At least one of the first and second guides 13, 19 is a relocatable guide which is relocatable with respect to the other of the first and second guides 13, 19 to thereby, in use, retract at least a portion of the vehicle charging cable 3. A vehicle incorporating such a charging cable storage device and a charging station incorporating such a cable storage device are also disclosed.
