The invention discloses an underground container transportation system and method, and belongs to the technical field of underground transportation, and the system comprises a yard bridge which is arranged on the ground and is used for hoisting a container transported to the position below the yard bridge and then transporting the container to a no-load automatic driving trolley; the automatic driving trolley is used for transporting the containers received from the yard crane to a destination through an underground rail; the underground track is communicated with the yard bridge and the destination; containers are hoisted to the automatic driving trolley through the independent field bridge, then transportation is conducted through the underground rail, and transportation in complex traffic jam/loading and unloading sections such as cities/ports/industrial parks is avoided in an underground transportation mode; in addition, the underground transportation mode also avoids automatic driving in cities, ports, industrial parks and other areas with large interference, the technical limitation of automatic driving in the aspect is also avoided, and therefore the transportation capacity of container transportation is improved.

本发明公开了一种地下集装箱运输系统及运输方法，属于地下运输技术领域，系统包括：场桥：设于地上，用于将运输到场桥下方的集装箱吊起后运输至空载的自动驾驶小车上；自动驾驶小车：用于将从所述场桥处接收的集装箱通过地下轨道运输至目的地；地下轨道：连通所述场桥和所述目的地；本发明通过独立的场桥将集装箱吊装至自动驾驶小车，然后通过地下轨道进行运输，通过地下运输的方式避免了城市/港口/工业园区等交通拥堵/装卸业复杂地段的运输，而且地下运输的方式也避免了在干扰较大的城市/港口/工业园区等区域进行自动驾驶，也就避开了自动驾驶在这方面的技术局限性，从而提高集装箱运输的运输能力。
