The invention provides a heating control method for a vehicle, which can balance the power consumption and the endurance distance of the vehicle. A heating control method for a vehicle (V) provided with a battery (BAT) and an air-conditioning device (30) capable of heating a cabin, the vehicle (V) being capable of traveling by the electric power of the battery (BAT), the operation modes for heating the cabin having: an outside air heat absorption mode for heating the cabin by absorbing heat from outside air without absorbing heat from the battery (BAT), and an outside air heat absorption mode for heating the cabin by absorbing heat from outside air without absorbing heat from the battery (BAT); and a battery heat absorption mode in which heat is absorbed from at least the battery (BAT) to heat the vehicle cabin. After the battery heat absorption mode is selected and the operation of the air conditioning device (30) is started, on the basis of a predetermined condition, the battery heat absorption mode is switched to the outside air heat absorption mode, or the amount of heat absorbed from the battery in the battery heat absorption mode is reduced.
