The invention discloses an automatic weighing device of an electric forklift and a weighing method of the automatic weighing device, and relates to the technical field of forklift weighing. Comprising a control display unit integrating operation and display, a sensing unit used for detecting the weight of goods, a processing unit connected with the sensing unit and used for receiving and processing signals, and a transmission unit used for transmitting the signals of the processing unit. The sensing unit, the processing unit, the transmission unit and the control display unit are electrically connected. According to the electronic weighing system, multiple weighing modes are adopted, the problem that weighing is inaccurate due to the random factor of the load gravity center position in forklift weighing is solved, the network communication function can be achieved, real-time information sending between external upper computers and instruments and a cloud platform can be achieved, and the weighing accuracy is improved. The carrying capacity, the weighing function and the network communication function of a common forklift are integrated.
