This on-car worker detection system is provided with: a worker detection unit that detects a worker present in a detection range, using a part of a work region set in a car as the detection range; a detection range driving unit that variably adjusts the detection range by driving the operator detection unit; a facility arrangement information storage unit that stores facility arrangement information including the placement height position of each facility arranged in the hoistway and the detection direction corresponding to the installation height position of each facility; a car position detection unit that detects the position of the car and generates car position information; and a control unit that checks the car position information and the equipment configuration information, determines a detection direction at the position of the car on the basis of the check result, and controls the driving of the detection range driving unit using the determined detection direction as a target value of the detection range driving unit. The detection range drive unit drives the operator detection unit in a direction in which the optical axis of the operator detection unit is the detection direction.

本发明的轿厢上作业者探测系统具备：作业者探测部，将设定在轿厢上的作业区域中的一部分作业区域作为探测范围，探测存在于探测范围内的作业者；探测范围驱动部，驱动作业者探测部来可变地调整探测范围；设备配置信息保存部，保存设备配置信息，该信息包含配置在井道内的各设备的载置高度位置和与各设备的设置高度位置对应的探测方向；轿厢位置探测部，探测轿厢的位置来生成轿厢位置信息；及控制部，核对轿厢位置信息和设备配置信息，基于核对结果来确定轿厢的位置处的探测方向，将所确定的探测方向作为探测范围驱动部的目标值来控制探测范围驱动部的驱动，探测范围驱动部将作业者探测部向其光轴成为探测方向的方向驱动。
