An occupant protection device (S) for protecting an occupant (MP) seated on a seat (1) is provided with: a seat belt (7); an airbag (25) that is disposed in the seatbelt (7) in the region of the waistband (10) that restrains the waist of the occupant (MP) when worn, and that is inflated so as to be able to protect the upper body of the occupant (MP); an inflator main body (18) for generating inflation gas; and a tube section (19) that extends from the inflator main body (18) and guides inflation gas into the airbag (25). The balloon (25) has a catheter section (40) connected to the tube section (19), and the catheter section (40) has: a tubular catheter section main body (41) fastened and fixed to the tip of the tube section (19) so as to be fitted from the outside; and an extension piece (80) that extends outward from the duct part main body (41), the extension piece (80) being fixed to a seat frame (4) that supports the seat (1).

用于保护就坐于座椅(1)的乘员(MP)的乘员保护装置(S)具有：座椅安全带(7)；气囊(25)，其配置于座椅安全带(7)中佩戴时对乘员(MP)的腰部进行约束的腰带(10)的区域，以能够保护乘员(MP)的上半身的方式膨胀；充气机主体(18)，其产生膨胀用气体；以及管部(19)，其从充气机主体(18)延伸而将膨胀用气体向气囊(25)内引导。气囊(25)具有与管部(19)连接的导管部(40)，导管部(40)具有：筒状的导管部主体(41)，其以从外侧嵌合的方式紧固固定于管部(19)的前端；以及伸出片(80)，其从导管部主体(41)朝向外侧延伸，伸出片(80)固定于对座椅(1)进行支撑的座椅框架(4)。
