The invention relates to a water temperature control method and system for a vehicle-mounted automatic water dispenser. The method comprises the steps that a placement signal of a water cup with the oval cross section placed on a conveying structure is obtained; controlling a conveying structure to move the water cup to a preset position according to the placement signal, and generating a setting signal; measuring the distance between the preset point and the water cup according to the setting signal, and generating a distance signal; controlling the cold water yield and the hot water yield according to the distance signal; the cold water yield and the value of the distance signal are arranged in an inverse correlation manner, and the hot water yield and the value of the distance signal are arranged in a positive correlation manner; or, the cold water yield is in positive correlation with the value of the distance signal, and the hot water yield is in negative correlation with the value of the distance signal; a driver can obtain water at the required temperature without lowering the head to adjust the water temperature.
