The invention relates to the technical field of rail equipment, in particular to a large-tonnage highway-railway dual-purpose tractor. The large-tonnage highway-railway dual-purpose tractor comprises a tractor frame, a driving device, a guiding device and at least two traction devices. The driving device and the guiding device are both arranged on the frame, the driving device can be used for driving the frame to move on the road surface and the track, and the guiding device and the driving device are matched to be used for enabling the frame to move in the track direction; the traction devices are arranged at the two ends of the frame in the length direction respectively. The large-tonnage highway-railway dual-purpose tractor can be used for carrying out traction operation on different types of vehicles from multiple directions.
