Provided are a driving assistance device, a driving assistance method, and a storage medium that are capable of appropriately performing brake control even when the brake performance is reduced. A driving assistance device is provided with: a brake control unit that executes brake control; a first calculation unit that calculates a first brake control amount of the brake control unit; a second calculation unit that calculates, on the basis of a set reference, a second brake control amount for the brake control performed at an execution frequency lower than the execution frequency of the brake control performed on the basis of the first brake control amount; and an update unit that updates the setting reference on the basis of the relative relationship between the estimated braking behavior obtained on the basis of the first braking control amount and the actual braking behavior obtained on the basis of the first braking control amount.

提供即便在制动性能降低了的情况下也能够恰当地进行制动控制的驾驶支援装置、驾驶支援方法及存储介质。驾驶支援装置具备：制动控制部，其执行制动控制；第一算出部，其算出所述制动控制部的第一制动控制量；第二算出部，其基于设定基准，来算出以比基于所述第一制动控制量进行的所述制动控制的执行频率低的执行频率执行的所述制动控制的第二制动控制量；以及更新部，其根据基于所述第一制动控制量得到的推定制动行为与基于所述第一制动控制量得到的实际制动行为的相对关系，来更新所述设定基准。
