A deceleration detection device is provided with: an object detection unit (1a) that detects objects around a host vehicle (101); a rainfall detection unit (1b) that detects a rainfall state around the host vehicle (101); a brightness detection unit (1c) that detects the brightness around the host vehicle (101); and a deceleration determination unit (145) that determines the presence or absence of deceleration of the preceding vehicle (102) on the basis of the amount of change in the vehicle speed of the preceding vehicle (102), the lighting state of the brake lamp of the preceding vehicle (102), the rainfall state, and the brightness.

本发明提供一种减速检测装置，包括：物体检测部(1a)，其检测本车辆(101)周围的物体；降雨检测部(1b)，其检测本车辆(101)周围的降雨状态；亮度检测部(1c)，其检测本车辆(101)周围的亮度；以及减速判定部(145)，其根据前方车辆(102)的车速的变化量、前方车辆(102)的制动灯的点亮状态、降雨状态以及亮度来判定前方车辆(102)有无减速。
