An integral motor and power module for a baby carriage, comprising: a housing containing: an electric motor and a battery electrically coupled to the motor; and drive shafts at respective ends of the housing, the drive shafts configured such that when the housing is placed between a pair of stroller wheels along a common axis of rotation of the wheels, the drive shafts engage with the respective wheels and are operable to transmit rotational force from the electric motor to the wheels.
