The embodiment of the invention provides a lifting cage for construction in a hoistway. The lifting cage for construction in the hoistway comprises a lifting cage frame and a cage body, wherein the lifting cage frame comprises an upper beam assembly; the cage body is borne on the lifting cage frame and surrounded by the lifting cage frame, the upper beam assembly is located above the cage body, and an interval space is formed between the upper beam assembly and the cage body; and the cage body is provided with a door frame, an upper sliding door and a lower sliding door, the upper sliding door and the lower sliding door are installed on the door frame in a sliding manner, and the upper sliding door and the lower sliding door can move in a manner that the upper sliding door and the lower sliding door get close to each other or get away from each other. The stability and the safety of the lifting cage for construction in the hoistway are improved.
