The automatic lane changing AR-HUD display system mainly comprises a processing unit and an optical projection unit, the processing unit is used for receiving a corresponding lane-changing instruction and simultaneously and respectively generating a long-distance virtual image and a short-distance virtual image according to the lane-changing instruction, road condition information and a planned track; the optical projection unit is used for receiving emitted light for generating the long-distance virtual image and the emitted light for generating the short-distance virtual image, reflecting the received emitted light for generating the long-distance virtual image for multiple times, and increasing the reflection distance by increasing the reflection times of the emitted light for generating the long-distance virtual image, so that the long-distance virtual image and the short-distance virtual image are projected to a preset area of an automobile cab at the same time to realize synchronous imaging. According to the automatic lane changing AR-HUD display system provided by the invention, the problem that synchronous projection imaging of the long-distance virtual image and the short-distance virtual image cannot be realized in related technologies is solved.
