The invention relates to the technical field of traffic safety, in particular to a zebra crossing. The zebra crossing comprises a zebra crossing body, wherein the two ends, in the pedestrian passing direction, of the zebra crossing body are the starting end and the ending end respectively; an indicating lamp mechanism which is laid from the starting end to the ending end, wherein the indicating lamp mechanism can gradually become red from the starting end to the ending end; and a control device which can control the indicating lamp mechanism to change color from the starting end at a preset moment so as to remind pedestrians that the passing countdown of the signal lamp is insufficient to walk from the starting end to the ending end. The zebra crossing can also provide a visual suggestion whether the pedestrians can safely pass through the zebra crossing body or not for the pedestrians, and the dangerous passing section is visually marked through dynamic expansion of the red area of the indicating lamp mechanism so that the pedestrians can conveniently compare their own passing progress with the expansion state of the dangerous passing section, and thus the passing safety of the pedestrians can be judged conveniently, timely and accurately, and the safety coefficient of the pedestrians passing through the zebra crossing is improved.
