The invention discloses a method for driving a vehicle based on traffic lights. According to the invention, the speed of the vehicle can be adjusted to pass through the intersection within the passing time of the signal lamp, the passing rate of the vehicle is effectively improved, and the parking waiting time isreduced.

本发明公开了一种车辆基于交通信号灯行驶的方法，涉及车辆行驶控制领域，其中车辆基于交通信号灯行驶的方法包括：终端导航系统或车辆电子控制系统ECU通过人机交互获取目的地地址，根据车辆的定位信息，选择车辆的行驶路径，选取行驶路径中的包含的数据确定途径路口行驶方向上信号灯运行的相位，将该相位运行的时序与当前的时间同步运行，车辆根据路况计算生成预估的行驶时长及预估的行驶速度，用户或车辆电子控制系统ECU参考预估的行驶速度进行行驶。本发明能使车辆在信号灯通行的时间内调整车速通过路口，有效的提高了车辆的通行率，减少了停车等待的时间。
