The invention discloses an Internet of Vehicles traffic signal prompting device which comprises a camera device, an image processing device, a communication device, a display device and a control system. Wherein the camera device is connected with the image processing device, the image processing device is connected with the control system, the communication device is connected with the control system, and the display device is connected with the control system. According to the invention, when a traffic signal lamp is observed by naked eyes, the situation of misjudgment caused by adverse weather, night light, large size of a front vehicle and the like can be avoided, so that a driver can know the real-time situation of the traffic signal lamp more clearly; moreover, the control system cantransmit image data of the traffic signal lamp to a vehicle monitoring center through the communication device, so that remote monitoring can be realized by traffic maintenance personnel.
