An over-long train refers to a train with the train length larger than the platform length. The invention relates to a metro or light rail over-long train whole journey parking information graphical representation method, and belongs to the field of rail traffic. A train parking information indicator diagram designed according to the graphical representation method can help a passenger to select a get-on carriage and a get-off carriage. The indicator diagram comprises but is not limited to a train pattern, a platform pattern, a station pattern and/or a station name (and serial number). The platform pattern has a relative position congruent relationship with the train pattern; and which train doors of the carriages face a platform when the train is parked can be judged according to the relationship. The platform pattern or the train pattern or a platform-train combination pattern has a vision congruent relationship with the station pattern, or has a congruent relationship with the station name or has a congruent relationship with the station name and/or (serial number); and which stations the relative position congruent relationship between the platform pattern and the train pattern is suitable for can be judged according to the relationship.
