A tyre (1) for a passenger vehicle comprises a crown portion (2) externally provided with a tread intended to be in contact with a road surface when the tyre rolls. The crown portion (2) broadwise extends through sidewalls (3, 3'). The sidewalls ends in the beads (4, 4') in contact with a rim (J) on which the tyre is mounted. Each sidewall includes an inner wall in contact with air for tyre inflation and an outer wall in contact with external air. At least one sidewall of the sidewalls includes a plurality of first sectors (311) and seconds sectors (312) formed on the outer wall of a first sidewall portion (31). The first sidewall is partially located between the crown portion (2) and the points (F) axially furthest to the outside when the tyre is mounted on the rim and is inflated to a working pressure. The tyre is characterized by the first sectors (311) are completely without raised markings of a height greater than 0.2 mm, whereas the second sectors (312) are provided with raised markings (3120) having a height at least equal to 0.2 mm, and the first sectors (311) each forms an angle more than 20 degrees, the sum of the angles of said first sectors are more than 120 degrees.
