The invention provides a device for automatically adjusting the angle of a rope end assembly of an elevator. The device comprises a first support, a second support, a high-strength shearing resistance bolt, a bearing plate, a rope end hanging frame, a counterweight diversion sheave, a hoisting rope and the rope end assembly, wherein the first support and the second support are fixed to one side of a counterweight guide rail and one side of an elevator car guide rail respectively, and the two ends of the bearing plate are fixedly connected with the two supports; one end of the rope end hanging frame is connected with the bearing plate through the high-strength shearing resistance bolt, and the other end of the rope end hanging frame is connected with the rope end assembly; the rope end assembly is connected with the hoisting rope which surrounds the counterweight diversion sheave, and the rope end assembly and the rope end hanging frame swing leftwards and rightwards around the high-strength shearing resistance bolt along with upward and downward movement of the counterweight diversion sheave. The device has the advantages that the angles of the rope end assembly and the rope end hanging frame can be adjusted together with the hoisting rope along with upward and downward movement of the counterweight diversion sheave.
