The invention relates to the field of two-wheel electric vehicles, in particular to an electric vehicle having a reliable rainproof accumulator battery. The electric vehicle comprises a frame, a front wheel, a rear wheel, a seat, a handlebar, a headlamp, a pedal, a rearview mirror and the accumulator battery, wherein the whole vehicle is supported by the frame; the front wheel and the rear wheel are respectively arranged at the front and back ends of the frame; and the accumulator battery is hidden in a space below the seat. According to the electric vehicle having the reliable rainproof accumulator battery, the accumulator battery is hidden in the space below the seat to prevent from being contacted with rainwater and dust, so that the service life of the accumulator battery is prolonged, and the structural complexity of the electric vehicle is reduced.
