Method of planning a platform lift (1), in particular a stairlift (1), at a stair (3), the platform lift (1) comprising a rail (2), a platform (8), in particular a chair (8), a drive unit (6) for driving the platform (8) along the rail (2), the platform (4) is attached to the drive unit (6), the method comprising the steps acquiring 3D stair data (3) of a stair on which the platform lift (1) is to be installed; calculating based on the acquired 3D stair data a path of travel (D, FD, ND) of the rail (2); characterized by retrieving manufacturing constraints (21), in particular from a database (20), calculating a feasible path of travel (FD) under consideration of the retrieved manufacturing constraints (21).

La présente invention concerne un procédé de planification d'une plateforme élévatrice (1), en particulier d'un monte-escalier (1), au niveau d'un escalier (3), la plateforme élévatrice (1) comprenant un rail (2), une plateforme (8), en particulier une chaise (8), une unité d'entraînement (6) pour entraîner la plateforme (8) le long du rail (2), la plateforme (4) étant fixée à l'unité d'entraînement (6), le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à acquérir des données d'escalier 3D (3) d'un escalier sur lequel la plateforme élévatrice (1) doit être installée; calculer, sur la base des données d'escalier 3D acquises, un trajet de déplacement (D, FD, ND) du rail (2); l'invention étant caractérisée par la récupération de contraintes de fabrication (21), en particulier à partir d'une base de données (20), et par le calcul d'un trajet de déplacement possible (FD) en tenant compte des contraintes de fabrication récupérées (21).
