A bracket for moving an outbound motor between an operational position and a stowed position. The bracket comprises a base member configured to secure to a transom of a 5 boat. The bracket also comprises a pivotable member having on outer surface to which the outbound motor clamps. A first end of the pivotable member is pivotally coupled to the base member and a second end comprises an arced projection that extends downwardly and towards the first end. In the operational position, the pivotable member rests upon the base member. In the stowed position, the pivotable member is 10 pivotally rotated up and off the base member such that a bottom portion of the arced projection engages with a locking arrangement of the base member for maintaining the pivotable member and attached outboard motor in the stowed position.
