Review of passenger car offerings for 1969 shows that emphasis is on safety features, reduction of pollution, and anti-theft provisions, improvements in ride control, and chassis changes to assure better handling and controllability; radical changes that may come in near future include aluminum radiators, disk brakes across board, skid control devices, improved fuel systems; 1969 features are described relating to safety, disk brakes, materials, engines, "black box" controls and special features.
