Outstanding among changes for 1929 are non-flashing transmission, new idea in mechanical brake design developed by Cadillac engineers, power increases in both engines, especially in La Salle, adoption of shatterproof glass, double-acting hydraulic shock absorbers for Cadillac models, adjustable front seats and refinements in body design; models and prices are tabulated.
