It is shown that application of shortcycle fixed time signal control with offsets designed for in-phase vehicle arrival to diamond interchanges using overlap sequencing, permits reasonable operation of traffic with minimums of apparent congestion, delay, or discomfort as compared to any suggested alternate method of signal control.
