Magnitude of Dulles International Airport serving Washington area and traffic to be handled led to mobile lounge concept providing way of moving passengers from terminal building to aircraft service apron; self-propelled passenger lounge is 54-ft long and 16-ft wide, 17 1/2-ft high, capable of being driven in either direction with one driver; requirements which include 60 permanent and 30 auxiliary seatings; vertical adjustment and aircraft matching, terminal matching, and other features.
