Most rubber moldings used in aircraft are found in hydraulic, fuel, and air systems, and in window and aerodynamic seals; other uses include hoses, mountings, and similar complex assemblies; hardness, tensile strength, compression set, volume resistivity, thermal conductivity, ozone and fuel resistance, and costs of several commonly employed elastomers.
