In this paper, the Karman vortex street behind a triangular cylinder immersed in an upward air water two phase cross flow was studied. The inner diameter of the transparent tested section was 50mm. Tested parameters were as follows: Void fraction 0 approx. 0.3; water flow rate 0 approx. 26 m3/h; absolute pressure 0.1 approx. 0.3MPa. An Empirical correlation for determining the Strouhal number of forming two phase vortex street have been developed. Structure parameters of vortex street, such as the distribution of void fraction in vortexes and vortex stability parameter h/l etc. have been measured and researched.
