Control of power consumption of industrial plants on the example of gas refining plants

The main questions of controlling power consumption of industrial plants are formulated and it is demonstrated on the example of gas refining plants how these problems are solved. Primary attention is devoted to process control of power consumption, determination of reserves of power consumption and formation of groups of consumers-regulators. It is demonstrated that only on the basis of a group of technical means and control computer technology can the problem of optimal control of power consumption of the entire plant be solved.
