Based on the above examinations, a new twin relay having following features was developed. (1) Miniaturized twin relay which has 70 % volume of the conventional twin relay which has 70 % volume of the conventional twin relay was realized. (2) By developing stationary contact terminal block having unique structure, a new twin relay which has high carrying current capacity was realized. Both H-bridge type and separate type can be produced by using the same parts and the same production line. (3) By selection of plastic material and spring material and improvement of contact material, the new twin relay complies with various automotive applications. (4) New twin relay which has low sound pressure level was realized.
