The paper considers the forces, acting on a roller of overrunning clutch in the equilibrium position at different jamming angles. The recommendations on selecting of the roller's diameter are given. Roller overrunning clutches are wide spread in the drives of agricultural machineries, transport cars and other machineries. They are used in the case of an automatic drive kinematic chain separation from the engine to the working element if the revolution speed of the latter is passed over.
