Supported by Intedis, LEONI meets the short to long-term demands on high voltage architecture - for hybrid to E-drive. Triggered by the crisis and the shortage of energy sources, our industry now invests in electrical drive with double speed. What was a longterm evolution some months ago is becoming a mid-term revolution. Thanks to a long experience in high voltage solutions for the automation and transportation industries, LEONI was able to immediately support several serial automotive developments all over the world. Whether high current wires, interconnection boxes or protections, LEONI today already faces the challenges of high voltage electrical architectures. Intedis, a joint venture of LEONI and Hella, enhances the wiring harness competence with a global vehicle architecture overview: Ensuring the optimal function and product partitioning between the low and high voltage worlds, adapting the energy generation and distribution strategy to the new actuators, binding the components into one capable system, ensuring that the high voltage architecture remains consistent and fail-safe (especially with the planned transition to x-by-wire).
