In crash simulation input data for the simulation program of a complete car crash have to be assembled based on a huge number of different components. Also a big number of different variants have to be managed. Therefore data management gets a more and more important role in the complete simulation process. As the crash models become more and more detailed and therefore the car model's complexity has increased considerably, software tools have to help to manage the different tasks within the car model generation process. In this paper processes and tools will be introduced, which help to improve the integration process and do it more efficiently. We mainly consider the management and integration process of crash model data and automated post-processing of the simulation results. Especially the management of include files, representing different components of the complete car input data for the crash solver and the preparation of the input data for optimization purposes will be studied in this paper.
