This paper shows a research of hydraulic typed hybrid vehicle. In this system, we adopted CPS (Constant pressure System) which was supposed suited for control. Here, flywheel was adopted from space and weight saving as energy accumulation. We actually developed the vehicle with full-scale, and evaluated this vehicle by the experiment. In addition, we aimed to compare various hybrid vehicle and fuel economy that has been put to practical use now, and to confirm the effectiveness of the system. In this paper, the theory and the design of CPS hybrid vehicle are discussed. Furthermore, the preliminary test result of measuring fuel cost (test driving such as constant acceleration driving and constant velocity driving) is discussed. Moreover, comparison with a simulation result is performed and the validity is checked.
