The presentation area of this paper deals with the complex of loads acting on motorcycle components and is a cutout of an extensive paper. The aim is, to find simple test procedures to make a 'yes' or 'no' decision within the work of accredited laboratories according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. The driving tests within this work have been chosen in the way, that with a high probability the load spectra of the fast motorcycle in public traffic use is covered up to 99 %. The analysis methods are mainly measurements with strain gauges during road tests, theoretical calculations and simulations as a basis work to find out the load spectra on motorcycle components. Out of this pre-work is checked if there can be a simplified test rig procedure in the sense of a shape stability test (Gestaltfestigkeit) instead of the direct verification of the operational strength (Betriebsfestigkeit) of the component. As an example in this paper results are shown for front fork systems. In the case of the structural components of the front-fork-system it is shown, that a shape stability test can be constructed in that way, that if the component withstands this test, one can be relatively sure, that there will be no structural problem in the lifetime of the component by the customers use. Especially it is possible to make this 'yes' or 'no' decision in the sense of the accredited laboratory. So the problem of the verification of the operational strength can be led back to a strength stability test. Maybe in future we find a consensus on (motor)-Bike-Load-Standards (BILOS).
