Formale Sicherheitsanalyse: Eine Anwendungsfallstudie - das Höhenkontrollsystem des Elbtunnels in Hamburg

Aufgrund vieler gefährlicher Unfälle in Zusammenhang mit technischen Systemen hat die Sicherheitsanalyse solcher Systeme stark an Bedeutung gewonnen. In diesem Beitrag werden neueste Ansätze zur Risikoabschätzung an einem aktuellen Beispiel aus der Verkehrsleittechnik vorgestellt. Die Erweiterung traditioneller Verfahren wie FTA mit formalen Methoden und Techniken der Statistik ist ein vielversprechender Ansatz. Damit können schon vor der Inbetriebnahme des Systems wichtige Aussagen über potenzielle Sicherheitsrisiken gemacht werden. Als Konsequenz können Designfehler früh erkannt und deshalb einfacher und billiger korrigiert werden.

Safety and safety analysis have gained a lot of importance during the last years. This is - not only - because of many accidents in this time with critical, technical systems involved. In this contribution newest approaches for safety analysis and risk approximation are presented. A very promising approach appears to be the extension of traditional techniques of safety analysis with formal methods and statistics. This allows to identify many important safety properties of such systems, before they are built. In consequence design flaws are discovered at an early stage and may be corrected with acceptable effort. The approach is illustrated with an actual case study of the domain of traffic guidance.
