Describes research into computer-based instruction (CBI) of ARI. The CBI research efforts fall generally into two themes or domains of enquiry; education and training. Educational research is concerned with developing and enhancing those basic and prerequisite skills necessary to repair soldiers for training in military jobs and tasks. Research in training addresses the specific military skills and knowledge for individuals to perform within a Military Occupational Speciality (MOS).
