Sample Data Collection (SDC) is a program developed by the U.S. Army using sampling techniques to collect, analyze, and feedback to managers at all levels, developers, maintenance and reliability engineers, and field users, valid field data on intensively managed, high cost and mission essential systems to support logistics oriented studies. Data is also available to support recent Army leadership initiatives for studies in functional areas other than logistics, such as resource management, design and development, reliability, safety, and warranty.
