This paper shows how to choose a power conversion architecture for spacecraft equipment. The example is a satellite momentum wheel motor drive electronic. Final design features are: electronics integrated into the wheel mechanical assembly, 100 KHz Cuk converter, Mosfets, Multilayer ceramic transfer capacitors. A specific modelling was achieved for the Cuk cell. The piloting system of a geostationary satellite is in charge of two goals: reaching the proper orbit after launch, and remaining on this orbit with real time attitude correction (for pitch, roll and yaw). It is often called Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS). An AOCS is an automatic chain with multiple feedback loops. We can find the following equipments: position sensors (Sun, Earth, Stars, Gyroscopic, ..., sensors), central processing unit, and actuators (thrusters for gross actuation, magnetotorquers and wheels for precise pointing and sometimes help of solar panels).
