An electromagnetic accelerator is described, which can be used to accelerate masses up to 1 g to velocities between 10 ms-1 and 300 ms-1. The theoretical model is compared with experimental results and photographs of the acceleration process are shown. The results indicate that the electromagnetic accelerator is a highly reliably device; the operation is reproducible. It can be used to accelerate all kinds of masses (dust, liquids, organic material, etc) in any environment (vacuum, atmospheric pressure, high pressure, or liquids).
