An analysis and experimental program aimed at testing the predictive capability of tools used in SGEMP analyses of satellites has been completed. The program consisted of a PIMBS IA test exposure of a scale model of a representative satellite followed by analytical predictions of the responses using Lumped Element Modeling (LEM sup 1,2,3,4) and the twodimensional SGEMP code ABORC sup 5. Based on these results, we believe that structural current prediction agreement within an order of magnitude is possible for moderately complex objects in this fluence and frequency regime, if consideration is given during model construction to the expected directions of current flow.
