A sensor system which is capable of measuring the effectiveness of an electromagnetic damping system in a System Generated Electromagnetic Pulse (SGEMP) test facility has been designed and applied to a predictable damping configuration. Results show that the system is capable of evaluating the damping of the TM n,1 modes of the facility.
