Abstract The ESA METERON (Multi-purpose End-To-End Robotic Operations Network) was born with the idea of creating a test-bed that could provide essential experience for planning and preparing future human–robotic exploration missions to the Moon, Mars and other celestial bodies, which involve controlling advanced robots on Earth using “telepresence” control equipment.
