With the increasing development of unmanned air vehicle (UAV) technology, the scale of UAV swarm becomes larger, which leads to a series of severe security problems such as unregistered flight and flying without order. In the light of the reality in swarm flight test, ground station software of UAV swarm is designed based on stay-in and stay-out geo fence. The main functions include data receiving and sending, mission planning and simulation, online monitoring and display, manipulation and emergency handling, and data collection and playback, etc. According to application scenarios, the model of geo fence uses common circle, rectangle and polygon model. If UAV approaches the geo fence boundary, it will react according to the three pre-made schemes proposed in this paper in order to avoid collision. The effectiveness of the ground station software is proved by a flight test in which 5 UAVs completed fire detection mission and threw water bombs autonomously.
