Kati Tamashiro, E.I.T

Kati Tamashiro, a transportation analyst with Bunt & Associates Engineering in the firm's Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, talked about her career in transportation and the LeadershipITE program. As a civil engineering student, Tamashiro worked for a year in the transportation planning department of a large civil engineering firm. This experience helped her understand and appreciate the transportation industry. She enjoyed every single aspect of the job and developed a deep interest in transportation planning and engineering. After graduation she started working for Bunt & Associates in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and had the opportunity to work closely with great mentors that allowed her to further develop her technical and personal skills. The LeadershipITE program has been one of her best professional experiences.
