The device for testing pilot parachutes by the towing method, which consists of a connecting link, the point of attachment of the connecting link on the aircraft, a strain gauge, an oscillograph, and an instrument for recording angular deflections and a release lock for the pilot parachute is distinguished by the fact that in order to record the angular deflections of a pilot parachute in two nutually perpendicular planes.
