A second ONR symposium was held in the field of complex vehicular controls. The fifteen papers and discussions presented cover the subject areas of man-machine systems, display systems, automatic and manual controls, handling qualities, vision problems, human equalization, environmental effects on the operator, tracking and serial choice tasks.
