The apparatus is used to vary, reverse, or neutralize the magnitude and direction of the thrust vector of a rocket in powered flight. The nozzle is movable and may be selectively tilted. A pintle supports a plug at the opening of the base of the nozzle. The positioning of the nozzle with respect to the plug controls the thrust vector.
